  While here, it’s well worth walking down the road from the Ermita, across the crossroads (with the left turn leading down into Elciego). About the same distance further you reach Encuentro de Miradas, offering a near-360 degree viewpoint across the vineyards, to Elciego in one direction and the Ebro in the other.

  The Ermita is closed most of the time, and externally does not have much to offer. However, this is the second of two wheelchair-friendly miradors in Elciego (the other being San Roque), this one offering a lovely view across the vineyards and the Marqués de Riscal building to Elciego. Here, the lower approach is along a winding ramp from the lower road from the Marqués de Riscal bodegas, up a slightly winding ramp, offering excellent views all the way. (Although wheelchair-friendly the ramp is steep). You can also reach the Ermita from the road to the East of the site, that rises up from Marqués de Riscal ... there is limited roadside parking at the gate across the approach road to the Ermita. (When we visited you could open the gate, but I don’t know whether that’s always the case. There is pedestrian access without opening the gate.)
